Riot Grrrls are back! 2009 definitely overwhelmed us with female no-fi punk. Vivian Girls and Dum Dum Girls were in a leading position, Holland brought us Titmachine and in the UK Pens carries the day: a melody sensitive punk trio, but way too shamble for decent airplay. And that is exactly how we like them best. De Stijl released their debut “Hey What You Doing”, and the girls immediately joined The Slits on tour. Debut show outside the UK!
