"...juste pour voir"

This project brings together five students from ERG (Ecole de Recherche Graphique, Brussels) within the framework of a workshop with Joëlle Tuerlinckx. Earlier this group of young artists also participated within the same project, in the presentation: “THAT’s IT!” (+3 FREE minutes directed by Joelle Tuerlinckx in the Kaaitheater, March 2015. This meeting spurred the creation of a second project, a performative piece that will be developed and displayed at the Netwerk closing party SUNNY SIDE UP, on June 13.

It is difficult right now to predict what the results of these experiments may be; but some notions are starting to become clear: as a basis, recording material of 5 interview dialogues realized in the studio of Joëlle Tuerlinckx is being used. These five sessions are the link on scene and help the concepts of rhythm and time, light, sound, translation and spoken text, coincidence, space and the exhibition as the “act” to be fully investigated.

The title “… juste pour voir” is perhaps rather a way of operating, it is an excerpt from one of the interviews conducted by JT and recorded by Christoph Fink.
