A film about a group of BMX riders who are confronted with the unexpected and brutal loss of one of their peers. They turn to 15-year-old Jesse, the only witness to the death of their friend, for answers he cannot give them. The boy threatens to drown in his own grief and a rising feeling of loneliness. Violet is a visual portrait of a teenager’s mourning process.
