Open Video Projects is a video-archive organising screenings on different locations in Rome. The weekly screening in Rialtosantambrogio, called the Blue Room Evening is their most important activity. The video archive is open to every (dilettante or professional) filmmaker. Open Video Projects gathers video documents of all kinds: for the Netwerk event, they made an accessible and variegated selection.

Avdals artistic interventions are site specific and yet they take place in the theatre. The stage becomes a medium. The unpredictable course of the performance piece implies a continuously changing set-up.

Phill Niblock & Thomas Ankersmit
The American composer and film and video artist Phill Niblock is active since halfway the sixties. His extremely minimalistice compositions are usually on drones, interference and upper tones. Over a long period he only presented his work as performances in galleries and musea. In Netwerk, he creates a dialogue with Berlin based altsax player and electronics musician Thomas Ankersmit.
